However, either the tag was sewn on the wrong side of the skirt or the pockets were sewn on backwards, because if I wear it with the tag at the back, the pockets face the wrong way. But that's ok, I just wear it with the tag at the front.

It still looks good and it's a matter of personal preference. I am going to wear and if I decide to shorten later, that will be fine. It is a great dress for the hot days where I live and is simple but very stylish. The price was great. Glad I have the samples so I can order again!
